Greenwich has an excellent transportation network. Interstate 95 and the Merritt Parkway traverse Greenwich giving it excellent regional accessibility. The Merritt is for cars only and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. Greenwich is only 43 minutes by one of the 78 trains that operate daily between Greenwich and New York City. Greenwich has four trains stations conveniently located throughout the town. Westchester county airport is 10 minutes away. The three major New York Area airports can be reached in 45 minutes to an hour.
